The next meeting for the Teen Book Club is Monday, April 30th, from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. The TBC will be talking about The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It’s a great book! Joining the TBC is easy- just show up on Monday night and start talking. As usual, snacks are provided.

Great Games! Summer Game Days continue at Central. Next Game day is Friday July 22nd, 2-4pm. Our last Game Day was a lot of fun. Participants played a variety of games, including Monopoly, Mario Kart Wii, Rat Race, Signal, and a whole slew of other card games. Come on out and be part of the fun. Fun guaranteed. Many bloggers and authors see post-apocalyptic/dystopian/end-of-the-world literature as a strong new trend in youth fiction. This was probably inspired by The Hunger Games and similiar books. What are your thoughts? Do you enjoy post-apoca-lit?
